Challenge: Create a short motion graphics video exploring illusory contexts.

Using a combination of motion graphics video and hand-rendered and digital illustrations, this short motion project explores the imaginary, fluid, and fast-changing landscapes of the future. Here I employ a combination of vintage and modern styles that work in tandem to express the pace of change over time.

Challenge: Create a pop-up booklet that states a problem.

Focusing on myths of body image perfection this project explores the impact of the male gaze on societal notions of beauty and femininity. Beginning with movie stills and text from Gillian Flynn's Gone Girl monologue, this project investigates the unrealistic standards of beauty through a design conceit that pays homage to teenage scrapbooks and locker art.

Services: 3D Design, Illustration, Graphic Design

Challenge: Create a 3D landscape based on 3D shapes.

This hand constructed set of small shapes explores the theme of time travel in an Alice in Wonderland-inspired psychedelic motif. Playing with scale, I enlarged the pieces for a site-specific installation made expressly for a local woodland.
